Movin' on....I had a long day today. Nothing was wrong, it just took forever. I'm really tired now too. Need a nap. My chem lab went well -- I didn't harm myself (or anyone else for that matter!) And it all went smoothly on the first shot!!! It was some dumb reaction rates experiment....with iodide and starch....no biggie.

Finally got back to Japanese today...I explained to my sensei that I had been sick lately and she was very understanding. Then I aced my katakana test and felt much better about my chances of catching up.

Other than that I've been doing well...still a bit lazy about this page though...in case you didn't notice.

OH!!! GOOD NEWS!!!!

We got a scanner at the 'puter show on Sunday. Nice scanner.....32-bit and all that jazz. It took me two hours and one boyfriend to install the danged thing though. I suppose it's better than the ones that we COULD have gotten...the ones you have to install cards in the actual computer for. Uggg. Stuff like that simply SCREAMS for me to wait until Brian visits (he works at Computer City behind the installation desk so I do put quite a bit of faith in his computer skills!). I managed to screw my computer up QUITE nicely by following the instructions EXACTLY as they were written. But I called Brian hysterical crying when my computer would only start in safe mode (lovely Win 95...yes indeed...). He talked me through the problem, then sat on the phone with me while I re-installed the scanner EXACTLY the same way. But of course NOW it works. DANGED SCANNER DEMONS!!!! ;) No really, I'm not bitter that my bunghole boyfriend can fix my computer over the phone by doing exactly what I did to screw it up in the first place! REALLY!

This does mean you'll see some decent pictures of me and the friends who consent to have their pictures put up, of course. And I do intend to ASK permission to put pictures up, unlike some people.

But it's still in the works....I have yet to steal the proper page from another site for my purposes. But this won't be a problem long. ;)

Okay....enough chit-chat......the hunt begins!!!! The page will be added as soon as I manage to be less lazy.....
