February 21, 1998 -- So, Brian's hockey game is today. I have to pick him up at midnight at the East Gym. But until then, I have his car. :)

So, I made plans with my roommate. Kristen and I both needed to do wash today. Desperately. And someone was using the crappy machines outside our apartment. We decided to go to the laudromat by Nirchis's Pizza. So we loaded our clothes into the Jeep, filled our pockets with quarters, and left.

Laundromats are cool. The washing machines have clear fronts so you can watch your clothes spinning and getting soapy. Kristen and I pulled up a bench and watched the wash go around in the big "Triple-Loader" machine. We discussed how pathetic we were.

The dryers are just as cool. They work SO fast. AND you get to watch the clothes go around. We actually moved the bench so we could watch the dryers too. We met a guy with a dog. He was nice, and he does wash every Saturday.

After laundry, Kris and I packed up our clothes into the Jeep once more and drove over to Music City. She wanted that new Ben Folds Five song, Brick, but neither one of us knew the name of the band. So we went in and looked around. I found it. I have band radar. ;)

After that we still had scads of time to kill...so we went to the mall. I bought a pink hat and gloves in Montgomery Ward for $1.62. I look adorable in them. I'll post a picture when I get one. Then we went to Express and tried on clothes we couldn't afford and wouldn't be seen in public in. Then we went to G&G. We both bought the same comfy pants in size small. They're about 4 inches too long on me. They almost fit her fine.

After the mall we just went home and sat. We watched TV and discussed when to next do laundry. We ate junk food.

Oh...time to go get Brian. I hope he had fun!
