Note to: Tosca
I've never seen The LAST Seduction, but it sounds like a porno. What's it really about? And this fellow night owl hangs out on aol, but she's cloaked to everyone except the select few. I've got a few pests who like to mess with me online, and I don't like them knowing I'm there. Oh...by the way...the only reason I'm responding like this is that you didn't leave an e-mail address. :::sniff::: I hope you read this...thanks for signing my guestbook!!!

Okay...back to business! I'm still sick, but I'm doing better. I guess I got the flu...hope I feel better soon.

Kristen decided last night that she should visit her friend Nora Jean for the weekend, so she is. One catch...Nora Jean goes to school in Hartford, Conneticut. Long drive. Kristen didn't want to drive so she spent all night convincing Walter to drive her to the city so she could catch a bus to Hartford from there. It was directionally ridiculous, but she did it anywho. Jeeze...now everyone's gone. At least my sister and Heather can use Kristen's bed so I don't get anyone else sick.

Oh, speaking of last night, Walter hung around for hours. Kristen ended up talking to people on AOL for about an hour, on my computer. I'm so glad her computer can't handle incoming calls when she's online...the phone would never ring. Anywhy...my point. I got so tired of just sitting around with them that I finally installed You Don't Know Jack volume 3 on my 'puter and completely THRASHED both of them. Kristen got so fed up that she left in the middle of the third game. I'm sorry that I know a lot of useless stuff!

Well, Walter left at 3am, and I did my usual rounds of the web pages I check...I started reading Squirrel Bait a few weeks ago and I finally caught up; I read ALL the old entries. Meghan's funny, she makes me giggle. I started reading Nova Notes a few months back, but I stopped over break. I have yet to catch up...Al Schroeder writes too much. You either keep up or get left behind in the dust! ;)

Here's my problem. I crawled into bed at 3:30am...I was exhausted and I later discovered I had a fever. I was whining to myself about how lousy I felt because the act of making audible noises distracted me from my stuffy head. Then I started reading the new X-Files book I got...Ruins. I read 100 pages last night. I didn't fall asleep until 7am. I was very unhappy about that. I had even taken NyQuil and couldn't fall asleep!

I think I should talk to my doctor about this not sleeping thing...it's gone on way too long and I can't take Nytol, it makes me sick and slow the next day. Oh wait, I don't HAVE a doctor. I have a kiddie doctor but jeeze, I'm almost twenty and that man never listened to anything I had to say. I remember telling him about my jaw getting stuck. His response? "If it gets stuck again just have your mom wack you across the face. That'll unstick it." I was diagnosed two years later with TMJ, by the second oral surgeon I had, which is another long story in itself. His comment "Jeeze, this bone damage would never have gotten so bad if it had been treated sooner!" I don't like doctors. I don't deal with doctors that don't listen, and I ask lots of questions.

Bah, bitterness is silly. I'll move on.

I spent most of the day cleaning my apartment. It was mostly clean from last week but I did some random neat freak stuff. The kitchen was disgusting because I hadn't emptied the dishwasher and dirty dishes had been piling up in the sink for three days. So I fixed that, changed my sheets, took down the nasty mildewed, torn shower curtain and put up the nice clean new one, and threw out old crap from the living room (Wow! There was a sale on zucchini in Grand Onion! In November!).

My sister and Heather got here fine. The bus ride was long and they watched bad movies, but they got here fine. We all went out to Applebee's for dinner. I was miserable so all I ate was onion soup and Kiwi Lemonade. Then we went to Wegman's and bought food. Well, some food and lots of tissues. I'm sick. ;)

I was online talking to Brian a little while ago, but my mom called. At 2am. "Mom? What are you doing up?" She proceeded to bawl me out for not calling her when Ann and Heather got here. Ooops! I thought Ann called her. Besides, we got back from Wegman's at almost 1:30! We decided Mom would be asleep and calling would be bad. She's so paranoid!

Ugh...Kathy sick. Need bed. Need sleep. Need pudding....yummy.
