March 28, 1998 -- So...what did I do today in the 80-something weather? I enjoyed fresh air in my apartment. I got back from dropping Bri at the bus about 11. I showered, put on clean clothes, opened all the windows and went back to bed for a while.

It was lovely. The apartment smelled clean and fresh, and my bed was warm and soft. When I got up I balanced my checkbook and did wash. Then I worked on this page a teeny bit. Nothing major, just little stuff. I downloaded AOL Instant Messanger too. My screen name is...you guessed it! EggWitches. Go figure. I feel productive.

My Drip Candle
My drip candle, isn't it pretty?
Sorry it's so tiny. I didn't want it to take forever to load.

I hung out with Kristen, Walter, Sumir, and Sandros (another guy Walter knows). Kristen broke her finger (we think!) playing football with them in the parking lot. When it started to rain we all ended up playing N64 in my apartment. I have four controllers now so we played four player Goldeneye...all three of them against me. Walter and Sandros are in the army, and Sumir said he was good at Goldeneye, but I won that game. I also won the Capture the Flag round, and two every-man-for-himself rounds. Go figure. Playing against Brian has made me invinicible to mere mortals.

When they got tired of getting trashed in that we played StarFox. Guess who won both games? Then we played Diddy Kong Racing. I let Kristen play in my place after two games because I was coming in a minute to a minute-and-a-half ahead of them. Very funny. We finally had close matches when we played Mario Kart. I think it's good we played that one last, so they wouldn't think of getting trashed in everything else and not want to play again. ;) They left about 2:00.

Walter gave Kristen a new fish...she didn't name it yet. I don't think it'll live the week. Its spine is all crooked and it doesn't swim all too much. I feel bad for it. Poor fishy.

Brian and I were SUPPOSED to play Command and Conquer tonight but he called at 2:30. He lost track of time and we agreed that it was too late to start a game. So we chatted a bit then he went to sleep.

What a boring entry. I'm going to bed now.
