"Still have not mastered ancient technique of backing up."
-- Lou, the boy who rassled Brian
Brian and I kick ass in chicken fights. No matter how outweighed we are, we kick ass.
We went skiing this afternoon. Brian did his usual thing, but I went nuts on the combos. I was flying over the wakes...lots of air. Lots of fun. The water was like glass so I was playing around and catching seaweed and putting it on my head. I got some good giggles from the boat for that. And some good exercise because I was skiing so hard I actually knocked myself over after flying over the wakes.
We skiied until there was no water, then we found this JetSki that was stuck...a hose had burst and they were taking on water. We towed them in. The guys were really grateful...it was fun.
Then we came home and went to Baldoz's house. And played in his pool with Ronnie, Darryl, Lou (mentioned above), Ann, Froggy, and others. It was fun. We had chicken fights, which Brian and I won.
For those who don't know...a chicken fight is in a pool. Everyone pairs up...light person and heavy person. The heavy person puts the light person on their shoulders and with at least two of these pairs you try to knock the top person off the other pair without getting knocked off yourself. Rhonda and Lou took out my sister and Darryl ( or Rhonda and Darryl took out my sister and Lou), then Bri and I went against Rhonda (who has magical ninja skills, by the way...and the last time I fought her I ended up face down in the sand with her sitting on my back choaking me) and Lou or Darryl. And we won. Go Baby Go.
Chicken fights are fun, but make sure the guy on the bottom knows that if you're falling, he has to let go of your legs so you don't drown.
"But I was trying to hold you up!!!"
Then we all went to the Roach and discussed parent theory.
Me: "You have to train them early."
Brian: "My dad just said 'do whatever'."
Lou: "I just wouldn't be alive if I did that."
Froggy: "My parents are SO over-protective!"
Brian advised Froggy to have a "mature, logical" discussion with his parents...and if that doesn't work...rebel. Rebel a lot.
Froggy started rebelling right after Brian suggested it. He's going to be in trouble. ;)
But I am sleepy. Very very sleepy. And I get to see Page and Plant tomorrow at Jones Beach! Yeah baby!!!
Goodnight.
