"Need a lift?"
-- my Dad to Brian, when Brian was sitting in the Bay, waiting to ski.
Okay...I'm back. And now there are four computers in my house. Everyone has a computer. Well, my dad doesn't really have a computer...it's the old 486 that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. Well, maybe my worst enemies...if I had any.
That reminds me...I need a new enemy. I made up with all the old ones. Any volunteers?
Oh, point. Right.
We got Ann a computer yesterday. It's pretty neat. It's an AMD-K6 266. 15 inch monitor, 4gigs, 32megs, 56K modem, 24X cd-rom, blah, blah, blah. Overall, a very nice computer. But the kick is that she didn't go with us to pick it out. And I set it up in the basement for her. She called home and Mom said "We got you a computer." and Ann says "Ooo, what'd I get?" Hurh? She doesn't much care...as long as it's her's. The punchline?
Windows 98.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! The box should read "We should have waited with Windows 95 but we wanted more money". I'll wait for Windows 2000, right. I HATE the active desktop. It's no fun. It's UGLY. It's BOTHERSOME. And Netscape crashes just as much, but AOL is nicer.
That was last night. This morning at 8am Brian showed up in my room and tickled me until I finally woke up. Pesky. I threw on my swimsuit and went out on the boat with the family. Mom, Dad, me, and Brian. Ann went somewhere else. Everyone skiied. I got my poor finger jammed before I went skiing and I had a hard time holding on tight the first time I went out so I fell quick and gave up. But when I went later I did fine...it felt better. I need gloves, I'm getting calluses on my hands. No wanna.
Me so sleepy. Need a nap.
...much much later....
Brian took me to see The Mask of Zorro. Oh cool. I love sword fights! And Antonio Banderas? Ooo baby!! I HAVE to teach Brian that suave thing. It's really sexy. Brian does cute really well, but his suave needs some work.
But now I sleep.
