"I am not an octopus!! I am not an oopma loompa!!!"

Happosai

I just ate the last piece of chocolate. Damn it was good. It was the kind with the hard toffee inside. Oh I love those.

Nothing big tonight. I have to wake up at...Egads!! 8am! My mother and I are going to don ninja gear and, throwing stars in hand, convince the kindly folks at the GM dealer to fix Squirt, my car. Now.

It does the oddest thing. I'm drivin' along, botherin' no one, when suddenly Squirt doesn't accererate at all.

That's when I start to verbally abuse it.

"Stupid freaking piece of [profanity] car! I ought to break out your [vulgarity] and leave the rest on the side of the [omitted] road GAWD DAMN YOU!!!!"

Ahem. Back to basics, y'see. Talk to it in it's own [obscenity] language.

But really, the car can be quite frightening when I'm...letsee...on I-81 in the dark...in the rain...alone..at 2am...going...[omitted] miles an hour over the speed limit of...what was that? 80 last I checked?...plus ten for good luck and THEN the car stops working.

Well, it's never done that but I am waiting.

But less about Squirt, more about me. I hung out with Joslyn today. We got dinner at Friendly's. As we pulled into the parking lot she points and says "Isn't that Ray's car?". I look, seeing as I know what Ray's car looks like and say "Nah." but then notice the Binghamton sticker and say "Well, I dunno.". But deep inside I know it is. Jos and I looked at each other and began to fear. "He's going to think we came here on purpose."

Y'see...Brian and Ray were out having a "Last night in Baldwin" dinner at Friendly's and we weren't invited. I wasn't heartbroken...putting Ray and I in the same room for longer than twenty minutes can very rapidly become unpleasant for all involved. We don't mix well, but we have learned to be cordial for short periods of time.

So we walked in. Jos looking like her usual cute self in overalls and me looking like my usual cute self in full "militant lesbian" garb...green cargo pants, sandals, and my hockey jersey. And we waved at them.

Brian ducked and we could hear their groans from across the restaurant.

So Jos and I chatted and avoided looking at them. We talked about the impressive rainfall, and how cute we both looked, and how she has to visit me in Binghamton. Then I saw Brian waving at me with a cute face on.

I ran over and hugged him. I couldn't restrain myself. ;)

They teased us for "following" them but I think they believed that we hadn't really been expecting to find them. So we stood and talked with them and I got to act sickeningly cute with Brian. Tee-hee. We had a nice chat and I told Ray I was making him a tape with Alice's Restaurant...seeing as he admitted on his webpage that he used to hear it as a kid and never had a tape or record of it. So I made him a copy. Along with other cool stuff I saved from eternal oblivian in the stereo cabinet downstairs. That's when I found out that my mom is cool.

She has The Who, she has Cream, she has EVERY BEATLES ALBUM EVER MADE, ON RECORDS, IN PERFECT CONDITION!!! I pointed out that she should take good care of that collection, as it may someday pay for that house on the lake that my parents are always taking about.

But back to Friendly's. Jos and I ate and I got home just before nine. Then Ann and I dove into Squirt and zoomed off to The Mall with fire trails blazing behind the car. She wanted to finish her Ranma 1/2 collection. So we ran to Sam Goody, found the last two she needed for the third season, and the first two of the fourth season. I got the soundtracks to Armitage The Third and Please Save My Earth. Then we came home and watched Ranma 1/2.

Gawd that show is funny. The deal is Ranma Satome is engaged to Akane Tendo by their parents. All would be well and good except they don't want to get married and while Ranma was training in China with his father, he fell into a "very cursed spring" at Jusenkyo. Now, when he gets wet he turns into a very well-built redhead version of himself. His father turns into a panda. There are various other characters...all the female ones are in love with and/or engaged to Ranma somehow, and all the male ones are in love with Akane.

And some of the male ones are in love with the female version of Ranma AND Akane. Go figure.

Gawd, its SO funny. To see pictures and read more, go to The Ranma 1/2 Gallery. They have everything. It may take a while to load, but I'd say it's worth it.

Ranma and Ranma-Chan (Guy and Girl)

But g'night. And I love you all. I love Brian more, but that's just me. ;)
