The Hamster Dance

<< [MAIN] >>

.....................

The Hamster Dance is something Brian sent me the link to. You have to see it. It's important. It's so cute I almost wet myself. Make sure you let the music load. You have to hear it.

I had to go through three HTML books to figure out what to do with links inside this part of the page. They can't be white...you can't SEE white. And I couldn't seem to get the page to define another color for links AS WELL AS white. Just one, no more. No amount of CSS seems to change what Netscape thinks. If you can't SEE the link, it's there. Trust me.

Note: After I went through all the pain of figuring out how to link this AND have it seen, I went to Matt's page and saw he'd linked it too! I should have directed you through Matt's page...but alas....)

I think this is a cute way to do links though, don't you? Maybe?

But in other news. School is going well. I didn't get into Algorithms OR The History of Pop Rock and Soul, but I managed to weasel my way in to CS 460, or Computer Graphics. I'm learning how to program GUI stuff. Should be boring and painful. ;) I'll live, but I'll be busy. Fortunately it's taught in C++, which I have a fairly good grasp of. UNfortunately, it's taught in C++, which I lost all my old programs for.

There's always that little somethin' to stick ya...isn't there?

Women's Self Defense is cool...kinda like Amazon 101. It's all girls and, as I recalled from my last 'all girls' class, women tend to loosen up when there are no men. We tear our clothes off and dance naked around big fires, chanting and singing folk songs. We carry drums and tamborines...wait...that was my OTHER all chick class.

We just toss each other around and grunt in this one. It's lots of fun and I'm finally learning some 'Mystical Ninja Skills'. Not that I'd be able to save myself if someone really wanted to harm me, but I could scream really loud and kick them were it counts to get away. ;)

Brian and I finally went to see Elizabeth this weekend. I was pleased. I'd been wanting to see it for quite a while, and then it wasn't in the theaters anymore. But Brian and I found it in a theater by the video store. I was very very happy.

Did I mention that I was happy?
