So it supports USB...what else has Win 98 done for me lately?
Um...royally screwed up Photoshop? I can't open gif files. The kind folks at Diary-L are picking their brains for me right now because I'm stumped. But I'm going to blame Win 98 anyway...because it's simple. Photoshop never gave me problems before....and now it is.
::sigh::: Kathy postpones her new main index page another day, although she drew it all out last night and was dying to plug away at the graphics today.
Today was good. I bought my home security system. Timm and Darryl went with me to Play It Again Sports, a used sporting goods store, and I bought an aluminum baseball bat for $9.75. I was pleased. It's a little ugly, but I can paint it. I figure I'll probably only use it for it's intended purpose once or twice, why spend tons of money on it? Timm says it should be fine for me. The man at the counter said "If you plan to use it for home security, why didn't you get one a little lighter so you can swing it more easily?". Timm defended my scrawniness with "She was swingin' it fine...she's stronger than she looks."
So, all you freaks better watch out...I have a bat now, just in case you decide coming to the door would be a real kick too. I'd think twice because blunt objects don't require more skill than I have.
Nothing that a rooftop and an AK-47 won't take care of...
I like reading fan-fiction. Y'know...stories about fictional characters written by their fans. My favorite fictional characters right now happen to be the younger generation of X-Men, Generation X. They're all kind of spastic, they bicker, they have adolecent love troubles...and it's all really fun. My favorite character is easily Angelo...the letcherous city boy who faked his own death to get away from the gangs in LA. He's got stretchy skin...he IS a mutant afterall. Y'know, X-Men...Mutants...strange powers....you get the idea. Keep in mind I don't believe any of it, but it's still fun and entertaining.
I'm a BIG nerd and boy, is it fun.
It's liberating to accept that I enjoy all this really nerdy stuff and not be ashamed that I'm not a cool kid.
